I have a New Avensis T4 with bluetooth hands free system. Can anyone tell me if the new iphone 3g will connect to the bluetooth system? Have searched everywhere I can think of to no avail

Yes it does (well at least it does on my 58 Avensis T4 with optional satnav), both as a phone and also as a music player as well (although the controls on the satnav do not control the music player, you have to use the ones on the iphone), you just have to pair it under settings. It will import all the contacts but not the calendar (I have never found a use for the calendar on the car really, apart from putting in when the tax, service etc. is due).
