Toyota's website's search engine keeps falling over.

Anyway, is this it: http://www.allapprovedcars.com/Used-Toyota...CarDetails.aspx

Always preferred the red, but ex-demo beggars can't be choosers...

Dead right Rob! whatever else we criticise about the RAV the handling is superb. Had a sucession of 4x4's before the RAV and it took a little time to get used to the accuracy of the handling. If you start to wind the steering on as you are coming to a left turn as you would with the Isuzu and Vitara, you run over the kerb. I suspect that the VSC is as much to do with it as the steering itself. Don't worry too much about the handling on the LC - everyone else on the road get out of the way ;)

Must admit... I did scare the living daylights out of oncomming traffic the other day as sped round this bend on 2 wheels with a slight list, they soon got out the way

Na, I tend to go slow now... no more using the slingshot effect off the roundabout onto the A329m , just nice and easy coasting... anywho if I were to put me foot down to much I'd need to take shares out with BP ;)

The LC is nice to drive but it is a wallowy beastie... cosy tho...

Sound like going from driving a Destroyer to an Aircraft Carrier Rob. Guess I've just moved in the other direction. I do miss the bottom box and the extra control you get with it when towing. When I bought the RAV I went to try it with my brother who bought one at the same time. Her indoors was not party to the trial and had not even sat in one when we went to collect it. The saleman was tied up when we got there so my brother, ever a troublemaker, stands at the rear of a LC in the showroom so that the name was obscured and says to my wife "just have a sit in this one and see how you need to adjust the seat etc." She of course thought it was a RAV and the look on her face was something else when she was trying to climb in never mind drive the thing. I thought it was great motor!

Her indoors never takes part in purchasing cars... she always leaves it up to me and when we have one which I want to change she's always saying "but we dont need to change it..." that was until we had a road trip with 3 littlens in the back of the RAV... kinda squeezed in but was a struggle... so I opted for the LC (wanted to stick with Toyota)...

It is funny though seeing her (shes only 5 foot nothing ehm 5 foot 3) climb in... getting out is even funnier when she forgets to use the side step...

But yea, the LC is a fine motor, if the LC had the handeling of the rav or the rav the space of the lc then Toyo would have made a perfect motor  - Perhaps if they would have brought out the 7 seater RAV over here we would have always gone for one of those...

Think they're only available in the US and OZ... dont quote me on it though.
