Drums To Discs

Has anybody carried out this conversion - drums to discs on the phase1 Avensis?

Which Toyota rear hubs were used and brake cables/lines?

I think the Celica parts of about the same year can be used, but the shock to hub mounting is different. If I use the Celica hubs, I have to use the Celica shocks too. None of this is confirmed as all has been visusl checks only.

Please advice.

The facelift Avensis came with rear discs, but cant find any spares easily and cheaply. So if Celica parts are cheaper and they fit then............

Handbrake setup is easy to do as I said due to the facelift having rear discs.

Visual check today confirmed that Celica ST18x & st20x rear handbrake cables may be able to fit with minor work.

Will also soon be checking the fit of ST202 front discs and calipers to see if everything lines up.
