i cant seem to get more than 12psi from my st205 gt4 have a gfb dual boost but standard wastegate actuator do i need an uprated forge actator what upgrade turbo is a simple swap any advice appreciated

should run around 1.1 bar easily (14.4psi to the bar)

check all hoses for splits and leaks. std actuator should be fine.

also check the pipes from the actuator make sure theyre not cut and that the boost controll solenoid is connected and working (located under the inlet manifold has a blue conector.

Does it only hit 12psi in all gears or just 1st and 2nd??

all gears the limiter for 1st 2nd has been blanked off

did you use the intructions for the boost VSV mod from the st-185 as this works the opposite way round to the st-205

When I fitted my boost controller I cut the hose at the actuator and plugged it up with a couple of bolts, seems to be the prefered method on a 205

yes thats what i did, what is the limit on the actuator still wondering if that is a bit weak

are you using a boost controller? if not then thats the problem. when you cut and block the pipe to the VSV it will run actuator pressure (about 12psi ish IIRC) that method will only work with an EBC as it is the VSV that bleeds signal away from the actuator to increase boost.
