Picnic Fuel Delivery

Hi gents,

I'm new to this forum, but I did search before posting ;)

I have a Y2K Picnic (also Ipsum) which died on me recently. The electrics seem to spark in all the right places so I went after the fuel system. The pump is too well hidden, but under the bonnet/hood I found a hose which looked like it might be a fuel hose - it comes out of the top of a triangular shaped plastic box.

Can anyone tell me if this is indeed a fuel hose, and if not where I can find one? I want to check that buckets of fuel spray out when I crank the engine.
