Hello back again,

I was on here last year when I got done for £600 for a new run flat by a toyota dealer in barcelona.

Anyway been busy as just had my first baby 12 weeks ago and everything is up in the air.

The rav t180 (warranty up in jan) has has a problem with power when pulling off and changing gear to second. when up to speed things dont seem too bad its mainly at pull off or change to gear 2

Any thoughts before I contact toyota who usually need advising on what needs doing.

Congratulations on the new arrival!

EGR is the common one but usually accompanied by warning lights. The T180 can have problems with the "5th injector" and catalytic converter (D-CAT) system and the likelihood can be reduced by using high grade diesel. Not much you can do after the event but you could try giving it a good thrash all the way up to towards top revs. Do it when it has some hard work to do, i.e. up a steepish hill and use common sense to avoid any damage!

Good luck.

Maybe it is all the new baby stuff you are having to lug around weighing the car down? :g: :D.

Also, if your power has gone, try checking nobody has left a lump of kryptonite in the glove box.:lol: (sorry, couldn't resist).

Hope it is sorted soon.
