on a Bog STD mk3 supra .. does it have a FMIC ?

also what is the max power it can get safely just by cranking up the boost and adding a filter and jap zaust ?

i know a 200sx can get to 200-210 bhp from 170 just from this ( ca18det )

also what boost level does the fuel cut come in at

FMIC as standard but only on the turbo models ;) :D

stock power 232bhp, up the boost to 10-11psi, exhaust with full de-cat and air filter 280bhp.

Fuel cut is at around 11-12psi

oh.. yeah i was talking about the 3.0 single turbo model sorry..

what would i need to get 300 ponies throbbing away under there ?

also what torqe would i be looking @ STD and @ 280 bhp ?

If you fit a FCD and turn the bost up to 15psi you'll hit the 300 mark, but the stock turbo wont last long at that level.

Can't remember the torque level off the top of my head but it's always pretty close to the BHP level.

Well not an awful lot on a BPU set up, the americans have run up to about 450 brake on the stock IC, but obviously the colder you can get the intake the better, especially if your planning on more mods in future.

Do you have a mkiii or just thinking of getting one??

hmmm just calculated the power/weight ratio

280bhp/1595kg = 175bhp tonne..

i must have 200

ok ok im over the initial shock...

whats the best way to progress from there....

save up for a 2.5 TT lump..

or get some low CR pistons double up the head gasget and use lots of laughing gas with a bigger turbo

or get a Metal head-gasget bigger turbo and crank up the boost ?

is it true that Nitrous + Metal headgasget = BOOM ?

What do you want with this car?? Track day, 1/4 miler???

You have to remember the youngest one of these is now 12 years old and they are a GT car, not a track day or 1/4 miler unless you want to put some serious money into it.

I purchased mine 2 years ago for 2k, Ive spent in the last 3-4 months 4k on go faster goodies.

Anything else now and I need a manual transmission swap and a built engine.

It'll hold its own against a few expensive cars (obviously depends which ones), so you dont need to worry about that :)

stock torque is 256nm at 3200.. if you want it for motorways you'll have no problem playing with the bigger cars.. theyre at their best at 75+.

and whats the top speed STD and @ 280 bhp ?

thing is.. when i think of supra.. i think.. All conquoring beast of a car..

an Rx7 @ 280 bhp can do 170+ mph and get there pretty quick...
