Starlet Sr Turbo Conversion?

hi i got a 1999 starlet Sr with a full glanza V bodykit including lights, bonnet and bootlid fitted to it but would like more power so i thought i would drop a glanza engine into it. but i dont know were to start from!

what parts would i need? and who can do it for me?

You would need the engine (including topmount/frontmount, manifolds, turbo, exhaust) Then the wiring loom, ecu etc. You will need a diagram of the two wiring looms to work out how to wire it or an auto electrician to wire it in.

What is your budget?

have you also checked insurance etc on the conversion etc?

By the time you are done it would be far easier and more or less cheaper to sell the SR and buy a Glanza

Cheaper to just buy a Glanza these days BUT, if you want to do it your easiest way is to find a crashed Glanza and swap everything over,the engine with everything attached and both wiring looms (engine and interior) Thats how i done it ;) Cheapest option is to find a GT (far cheaper) and do the same thing but have to make up your own loom,depending on what/who you know depends if that option works out cheaper in the long run though.

In my opinion the only reason id see doing a swap into an n/a is for the sleeper side of things but you say you've already got it looking like a Glanza so kinda going round the long way in doing it?
