Tyre Replacement Help Needed

Hi Folks,

Looking for a bit of advice.

I have a 07 Rav4 XTR and need to replace the 3 out of the 4 tyres therefore the whole lot.

My job involves a fair amount of off road so I have decided to go for some All Terrains.

To explain my predicament:

The current tyre size is 225/65/R17

There are very few tyre manufactures that make any AT for the 17 inch rims.

I was advised by the boys at ATS that I could go up a width size to 235/65/R17 with out any adverse effect to my car.

By doing this, the AT tyre choice is greatly increased and therefore costs are more competitive.

Can anybody tell me if this extra 10mm width on the tyre is going to harm my RAV.

I spoke to Toyota about it and they said it would be fine, as did ATS Euromaster.

Let me know your thoughts
