Farewell - The Rav Has To Go As The Mrs Needs A Diesel Auto...

I've loved having the Rav over the past few years. I've enjoyed using this forum to upgrade it with the kenwood/garmin satnav, but unfortunately, it has to go as my wife has developed a back problem that means she needs an auto.

So, I'm off to the dark side, I'm afraid: I've bought a new CR-V 2.2.

If you're interested, the ad's here - let me know if you think I'm a million miles off in the price :-)

finally, thanks to all the folk who've helped with my Qs on this forum!

Did you consider the new RAV4 2.2 diesel with 6-speed automatic transmission?

I suppose with the new CR-V coming out there will be some good deals on existing CR-Vs?

I did consider the Rav auto, but (1) I couldn't get a discount and (2) I like to have a sunroof and they don't offer this anymore.

I'm getting the facelifted CR-v in january, and managed to get a reasonable discount. Mind you, it's still more money than I wanted to spend, but hey-ho.

truth be told, I'm a little dissapointed because I had some more projects lined up for the RAV such as headrest screens for the kids to plug into the Kenwood DVD thing, etc....
