Underseat Sub

Hi,

Just came from my dealer with the question if its possible to build in an underseat sub. They told me its not advisable cause the dynamo isnt strong enough to load the Battery of the car with a sub and foglights.

Any experience with this??

I had a Toyota under-seat Sub on my old 1.0 Yaris with no problems

Sounds like balls to me.

If you were driving in the rain with full beam on, fog lights, sub up max, rear demister on and winding the windows up and down you might run into problems.

But an underseat sub set on reasonable levels won't draw much extra current.

I've got an aygo with fog lights and a kenwood underseat subwoofer...i have had everything on at once never had a problem.

As long as the sub isnt to high wattage it should be fine.

Water & electrics, its only a 12V system so i wouldnt be too worried.
