Induction Kit Fitted!

I have just fitted my induction kit to my corrolla (4afe engine)

You can certainly see where the engine gets it quiteness from. Once the standard air box was removed and the induction kit fitted, you can almost hear the filter sucking and hissing on tick over.

Good increase in throttle response and a good roar on full throttle too ;)

What induction kit did you fit?

I bought a K & N for my 4afe but the air flow meter doesnt fit so I cant use it.

How much did it cost you too?

The induction kit is the 57i Kit from K&N....

part number is K/N57-0360.

You can always just cut a small hole and fit the air sensor in there, that's all I have on my induction kit, just allows the sensor to sit inside the filter.

The exhuast, I won't know the final price until it's done, but for the custom manifold and full system, I'd expect around 500-600

i have an induction kit aswell but mine aint that loud. it gives me quite a big power increaase rather than sound. have u got a pic of yours and where you've run your cold air feed as i need to work out where to run mine

Yeah i bought that K & N induction kit but the airflow meter is far to big for the cone, even if i cut a hole in it.

You bought the universal filter from tune-a-car didnt you corollasr?

I've removed the standard airbox and piping and I'll show you in the image where I've done the cold air feed.
