Starting Problems -

Ive a 1994 rav 4 , never had any bother with it thus far until a few weeks ago when it developed problems starting ... got a new Battery today , installed and now the blooming alarms/mobilizer wont let me start it ..lights flash a few times when i open doors .As far as im aware its been in it since new ( immobilizer/ alrms system ) and my key fob has 2 buttons one red the other black ??

Anyone got any ideas??? or any information I ask as i aint sure what to google for ? cheers so frustrating !!

Welcome to the club.

Try holding both buttons on the remote until the indicators answer back.

seem to remember just hoilding the red button down to allow the thing to synchronise...or try both, or try hitting it with 3 wet fish...

haha - comes frae Aviemore so its probably wired up to the ski lift!
