Fuel Filter Replacement

Does anyone know if the Fuel Filter on my 2.0 D4D is easy to replace. ie. for a DIY service.

Any idea or tips or pics…

where the hell is it located? :unsure:

It's OK, if you know how (but then, most things are). See attached.

Been a while since I changed the one on my old 4.2. It's kind of on the bottom of the fuel priming pump if I remember correctly (big if). Nearside under bonnet , towards bulkhead, I think it was.

Disconnect rubber fuel pipes, remove the whole assembly and get in vice as shown. I spent 15 minutes trying to do it in-situ, before the penny dropped. :rolleyes:

maybe more mechy experts will comment further.
