Performance Suspension Parts

After a quick scan on eBay, it would appear there are now some performance suspension parts for the IQ.

They are Front/Rear Strut Bars and Front/Rear Anti-Roll Bars.

Quite pricey though, but I bet with all this lot on and with lowered springs the IQ would be very good.....

I saw those too. Thought price seemed ok but then the shipping was huge. Add to that VAT (which will have gone up by time they get here) and its far too much money for me. When these things get cheaper i will definately get some (mainly for engine bling of course) . I would however not get the rear strut brace unless for racing as it looks like you cant get to the rear storage bin which is really handy and then you cant get to parts below it etc so not practical. If it turns out it sits higher than it looks then maybay i would.

Are they actually selling the anti-roll bars? Looks like they are just reinforcing bars for the bottom of the chassis (the gold things) or are they selling the red things?

I imagine actual thicker anti-roll bars would be an excellent idea---worked wonders for my Aygo, even with stock springs and dampers.

Well, i wondered that as well. I presume just the re-enforcing thing but its hard to tell. The roll bar looks nice though!

Hmm, it appears some more springs are now available on eBay too, with listings for some PI lowering springs that drop it 30mm (both versions available for IQ1/2 and IQ3/IQ1.4D).

PI Lowering Springs Toyota Iq 1.0 04/2009 30mm £98.30 + £13 P&P

PI Lowering Springs Toyota Iq 1.3,1.4d 04/2009 30mm £124.20 + £13 P&P

Therefore there's three options if you want to lower your IQ:

1) 25mm with genuine Toyota springs

2) 30mm with PI springs

3) 35mm with H&R springs

I'm due to pick up my 25mm Toyota springs today, so a bit gutted that I've just seen the PI ones :(
