Is This A Fair Deal

I would welcome any comments on the following offer made by my local Toyota dealership.

I am looking to purchase a 2006 [56] Rav4 2.2D-4D XT4 5DR, with 28,000 miles on clock.

It is in excellent condition, with leather upholstery and new mot. Priced at £13750.

For my 2003 [53] Rav4 2.0 D-4D 5Dr, with 105,000 miles on clock, full Toyota service history,

has Toyota fitted satnav, tow bar, new tyres, recent new clutch, and in good all round condition,

Mr T has offered me £3,700 in px.

Seem a fair deal?

Well....

My ex Petrol 06 RAV XT4 with protection pack and 34K on the clock is up for grabs from my local MR T just 5 squid shy of 13K... so for a diesel (auto I presume) what you have been quoted aint bad...

Regards

Rob

I expect to pay £1300 for a decent 1997 RAV4 so yer 2003 price is a joke!

I agree, the trade in price is too low so I would have a go at selling that privately. The new one seems typical for retail. You could barter for a better discount with no trade in though..............
