Daft But Necessary Question

managed to mash my locking wheel nut key yesterday, but a few careful modifications at work 15 mins ago have rendered it good enough to get the wheels nuts off.

meaning im now down on one nut on each wheel

will i be ok to make the journey home where the new ones are ready to be fitted??? its not gonna damage the hubs,studs or anything is it? as long as i take it steady? its only 7 miles home and never breaching 50mph

Personally there is no way I would drive my car without the correct number of wheel nuts on 1 wheel let alone all of them.

If its only 7 miles then get a lift or a taxi and go get them. :)

i didnt want to risk it and it be unsafe with only 3 in each wheel

ta ill have to get the missus to ferry me back an forth!
