New Battery

Right, ive got a gen 2 paseo and ive been told that i will eventually need a new Battery for my car as ill soon be running a 1200watt amp, full set of undercar neons and interior neons. Im currently running a 250watt amp undercar neons and interior neons, is this too much for the current Battery? It always starts but am i straining the Battery? If this is the case, can i just upgrade the original battery? Do i need to make any other changes? What battery should i go for??
