Evening ladies and gents,

I dont know whether you remember but a few months back, I became a Jap convert and bought a Celica.

Of late, because of the the rather cold weather my Battery has died on a few occasions so am looking to buy a new one.

The one thats on the car at the minute is not the original one and is not the correct one for the car either because it is somewhat under powered and doesnt last 5 minutes if I leave my lights on.

I got the RAC out to jump start me and he tested the Battery and said it was only 155CCA but according to his computer, it should be 460 or something similar for a car such as mine.

I have been to Halfords, they had one for just over £50 so I went to Toyota and they said £51.07 but it was only bringing two up, one 310CCA and the other 590CCA. Im confused. Should I buy the 460 from Halfrauds or one of the others from Toyota?

The Toyota dealer said the reason they dont have more options is because its an import.

I am assuming one of you fine folk will have replaced your Battery at some point during ownership so am hoping for some useable advice, unlike the info I got from Toyota!

Thanks in advance

Just get the one with the biggest CCA that fits in the tray.
