Battery For 2002 1.8vvt Avensis

With the winter starting to bite I'm thinking of getting a new Battery for my 2002 1.8 VVT Avensis. Please does anyone have a recommendation, and also a note of any to avoid? The name of a supplier and an approx. price would also be a great help.

From experience I have found Varta batteries to give good performance and you can get them with a 4 year guarantee - see link below for prices, etc. But it may also be worth checking prices with a Toyota agent sometimes they do winter offers.:)

I put a Varta Battery on the wife's Corolla 4years ago, no problems since, excellent buy @ £44.65 (2005 price).

You could also check out prices for Bosch or Yuasa batteries. They're both pretty good too.

Avoid ones that only have 1 or 2 year warranty.
