Voice Activated Radio

Hi

I have just taken ownership of a 05 Avensis T4. The radio is supposed to be voice controlled but I cannot seem to get it to work. I press the speech command button on the steering wheel, wait until I hear a beep then speak a command (audio on, radio, etc) but nothing happens. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi, I have a 03 T4 Avensis and wondered about this was well. It would seem that we do not have this option and you will not be able to use it. If there is anoyone out there who knows any different I would be intrested to know the answer.

I'm not 100% on this but isn't the voice command used for the Satnav?? :unsure:

I have the satnav and the instruction manual for my T4 2006 Avensis and there are commands for operating the Radio/CD etc as well as the Sat Nav. However, I dont even get a beep although there is a little red light on near the roof speaker. bit of a mystery as to how to get this working............
