HELP

hi everyone i had a bit of a knock in the rear of my xt5 a week ago  no damage to car just a scuff on my spair wheel cover but since that the parking sensor gives out a conctant beep sound.

i tried switching it off and on on again even leaving it all week and still no joy of it going back to normal.

is there anyway to reset it or is this a job for Toyota! :(

thanks in advance!!!! ;)

Before going to Mr T, I would check the sensors for any pieces of debris, dirt or even ice jammed in the little

groove. Try cleaning them out with a pin or similar.

Could it be that the bumper was hit and a wire was disloged/grazed and is now shorting?

Bumpers do not always show obvious marks when hit - they sometimes just deform a bit and spring back, especially if only a gentle impact.
