Which Amp & Speaker Upgrades?

Hi Guys,

Back after a 6 month absence - some stuupid bird pulled out on my mrs doing 60 in our tsport - writing it off in may (she was ok - a testament to the build of the celica!!)

So, a couple of weeks ago we found a replacement at last - same colour even (Storm blue)

I'm after advice on getting better sound out of the stereo. We had the toyota sub in the last celica & to be honest now i'm in this one there isn't that much difference really.

Problem is the mrs wants to keep the head unit (its her car after all : ( ), so would anyone have any suggestions for maybe an amp and replacement Speakers for the doors etc?

Also, have any of you used sound deadening like Dynamat? I had a look in the boot & rekon it would be quite easy to put in - if its worth it!!
