looking for help!! my 07 2LTR D4D had the recall emission upgrade done in may, since this was done the engine has sounded rattley,pinking?stalling when engine is cold , and slight loss of power. tried Vpower diesel seemed to help for a few months but problem just getting worse. Spoke to toyota over the months and been constantly told no one else has

had problems with emissions recall so struggled on,now finally had enough!!! Taken car to toyota and now being told the complete injection system needs replacing £1900 worth, tho glad car less than 3yrs old and toyota to pay i would like to know what has caused this problem and will it last more than the 23k ive done on this engine???? my toyota dealership dont seem to know cause, not hoping anyone else on this site has same probs but do hope someone could shed some light, im convinced it the emission issue because it went into garage perfect and came out a real crap car to drive!!!!!
