My local Mr T is quoting £250 which seems a lot for what looks like an oil and filter change plus check

is this the norm

Our 2 year 20k service on a 2.2TD T180 was approx £180 at MR T and the 30k service which is booked in last weekend in January is approx £130

Call other toyota dealers around you - i guarantee theyl be lower!

That is exactly what my dealer quoted me. Rang around and average price was aound £160 - dnt pay any more! Go elsewhere!

Turns out my local centre were charging £70 per hr labour and they had put down 2 hrs for a 1 hr job!! £140 just labour!!

Hi, if you go to parkers website you can find link there and labour charges for all car dealers. They seems to be up to date.

In November my T180 had its 2 year 20k service. I used the Stafford dealer as my local one was just not competitive and wanted me to ring back and forth with precise information before considering a better price/price match.

Anyway Stafford did it for £140 including brake fluid change and more importantly offered Shell Helix Ultra 5W-30 instead of Toyota semi-synthetic. On top of that they sold me some top up oil in my old 2 litre cleaned-up oil container for about £8 - bargain.... and for good measure carried out brake warranty work on all wheels which my dealer had refused.

FYI, my local dealer wanted £184 and Wolves wanted £200 for the service.

....and the wife was happy because we had a shopping day out in Stafford with free parking...

The guys at Stafford are very good and thats about what they charged me too.

Solid service from them for years now. Highly recommended
