Just 6 days to go and our Aygo reaches it's third birthday having just covered 10,000 miles. We can't believe we've owned it so long. New water pump and additional gutters and door seals have been the only warranty issues. We bought it for a runaround and it does the job brilliantly returning 45mpg round town and well over 60 mpg when it gets a run out.

No problems with the MOT we had carried out before Christmas, third service will be done before the end of the month.

Tyres were swapped over just before winter to get the max grip on the fronts and it has paid dividends - taking all the bad weather in its stride. Once the fronts are down to about 3mm I'll be getting mud and snow rated tyres on all round to improve its winter handling.

Looks like the car will be with us for many years to come!

Oh thats a nice to post read :)

Mine will very soon be three years old aswell although my milage by then will be about 50k and more sets of tyres then I count lol

And I have some very miner things all sorted under warrenty, so minor I cant even remember what they were.

My Aygo Black is coming up its third birthday at the end of this month.. in for service and MOT tomorrow so hopefully no problems will emerge. Have to say it has been a fantastic car, just covered 15,000 miles and it has been cheap as chips to run and great fun to drive. I have had none of the problems with leaks, might live to regret saying that! I have thought long and hard about trading it in for another Aygo, IQ or in a fit of fancy a MX5.. but on the balance of things I think he will be staying under my ownership. Still looks great too when cleaned up, and following on from recent posts I’ll purchasing some of that showroom shine stuff. I had seen it while channel flicking (honest) and thought it was another gimmick, great to hear practical endorsement from fellow owners...

Well back to looking out the window at all the snow....

Did I say no problems with leaks and will live to regret it.... well emptied the clutter from the boot and guess what? Mouldy/damp dust sheet and frozen boot carpet... :(

In for the service/MOT, mention the leak, oh sorry it’s water ingress if you speak to a mechanic

Anyway dealer spot on, as has been my previous experience with Hodgson in Gateshead, have replaced some seal on some vents, will replace the boot carpet (didn’t have to ask). Also replaced the water pump, which has been mentioned before on the forum, so I guess this is a known problem – all under warranty. Still keeping it despite going through the IQ configuration thing on Toyota’s website... well maybe... ;)

Bad luck about the leak...I said the same thing "my AYGO doesn't leak" and a few days later... tidal wave! I like how Toyota make it easy and don't argue with things like this because there is nothing worse than having to prove everything and the dealer refusing to do work. I know a few people who have had warranty problems with other manufacturers.
