Weird Boot Mat Query (new Model Avensis Tourer)

Hey all, I'm a Business Centre Manager at a Toyota Centre in England. I've worked here for about 8 years, previously in service so I'll try and help out on a few topics as and when I spot anything I can advise on. Not here to try and sell anyone anything and am a genuine Toyota fan as well, parents drive a 55 plate Prius, Sis has an S reg Avensis and I'm currently in a new Prius. :)

Currently looking to see if anyone can come up with any ideas for me on something:

I have a client who might well want to buy 12 or more Avensis Tourers off me who runs a large plant nursery. As such they often drive around with the rear seats folded down and a lot of plants in the back of the car. As any of you who have the NG Avensis may know there is quite a gap between the rear seat headrests and the back of the front seats when the seats are folded flat. My customer has basically said I am only in the running for the deal (otherwise Honda or Skoda will get the order!) if I can find some way of buying/producing a cover/mat that will cover this gap.

There is nothing made by Toyota and having spoken to various people at h/o they can't help. I've found a local rubber company that I am going to go and visit when the snow clears a bit to see if they could custom make me anything but, on the offchance I thought I'd post on here in case anyone has any ideas!

Nice one, thanks in advance for any help B)

Totally agree, I have the official toyota bootliner, which only fits inside the rails and leaves the rest of the floor outside the rails free to get covered in *****. Plus, my car is stone leather interior and has cream carpets, even in the boot, which is mad!

so the seat squab doesn't lift up & forward with the backs dropping down into the space on the NG Avensis like on the old one?
