OK

Drove around newport / cardiff today with friends grabbing bargains from waitrose on the way - not many made it to the shops, so selling lots of food off cheap!!

Anyway got into a few discussions as to what is 4 wheel drive and what isnt in the competition.

Any list or can we build one

eg

rav4 2.0 4.2 4 wheel

rav4 1.8 - think 2 wheel?

rangerover

bmw x5 etc

noticed when driving / messing about spinning it in a leasure centre carpark it beeped a few times when spinning - what was the warning?

also

what type of four wheel drive is it? - gf's son drove it in the same area and I thought one of the front wheels was spinning / moving quicker than other

Thanks

wot you need is a 4.1 version cos its lighter weight and optional locked (ish) 4 wheel drive is great - only trouble I've had is roundabouts - taking them sideways but thats cos of the tyres I'm running with - I don't keep a set of winter tyres despite having 4 sets of wheels for the 2 RAVs!

Why when the car is sideways... and the hedge is getting bigger on one side of the road and the ditch is then closer on the other and the huge grin is "splitting me chops" does the "car" join in with the beeping and the "your gonna crash lamp" flashing on the dash!!!!!.. Ha 5 hours to get home and rescuing a couple or LR's "Gaylanders" from snow banks, but thats another story...

Just to let you know its watching you!!

Eased a Merc Sprinter bullion van out of our sloping car park today - no problem. Web towing rope was a tenner off eBay and looks a treat in use.
