Ipod For T180 Corolla Verso ?

Recommended Posts

:( Hi all, I am in a bit of a fix, I purchased a Dension ICE>Link plus car kit to upgrade my T180 head unit to play my ipod. I was assured (from various sources) that my head unit was the new 12 pin block connection, I took this advice on board and went ahead and bought one.

I received the dension kit (with the large block connector), and proceeded to fit it. I removed the head unit (W58810) and looking at me from behind the head unit was NOT a large 12 pin block connector( of which is supposed to be a cd changer socket), but 2 sockets, 1 with 2 rows of 6 (12 in total) and 1 with 8 (2 rows of 4). I have searched the web far and wide but are unable to find a ipod setup that will fit my Corolla Verso T180 '07 with a W58810 head unit, Can anyone shine any light on this issue and point me in the right direction as to which unit I need ???, thanks. :(

I had the same problem and obtained the correct connector at the second attempt from www.ipodcarkitdirect.co.uk they supplied the correct cable about 3 years ago and they understood the problem when I telephoned them on 0845 430 3355
