Ecu Issue

Ok my ECU got fried in my car and im searching for a replacement.

Here are the details of it:

Make: Toyota

Model: Corolla

Engine capacity: 1600cc

Transmission: Manual

Engine: 3ZZ-FE

VVT-I

ECU Codes:

89666-12020

175200-3961

Also anyone ever have to replace there ECU before and how much did it cost?

Car got flooded about 2 months ago...ran perfect til a week ago...so sent it to a garage...he stripped d whole lot and my engine was completly flooded :(

Im tempted to just buy a new one from toyota cos im having no joy sourcing the right one.

Ok found an ECU for handy money....only problem is only half the numbers match

89666-12020...these numbers match to d ECU i found and not the other numbers mentioned above

Would this ECU still work with the car or would i have to change the ignition and keys etc. to make the immobiliser work?
