Big Problem: Sub-zero Failure.

Hello, I live usually in a coastal village, but I came for a few days to a mountain place.

Today I was atempting to start my Verso 2.0D4D (1200km, brand new!!) and park inside a garage (temperature is going to fall down much more); thermometer was in -3ºC and:

I let the warmers run; when finished I start the engine: it sounds like a piston not working (and strange smell), engine failure light ON and engine stalls.

I try for several times, and finally it starts and doesn't stop, but at this moment the failure light is on and engine doesn't rev above 1500rpm (+/-). I start moving and 20 meters later, ESP failure light and other yellow light (I don't remember) appear in the dashboard, and engine has no strenght.

I've parked the car inside and disconnected Battery (I hope it erases failure from the ECU, but I'm not very sure).

My big problem is I'm incommunicated because snow and probably tomorrow some road will be open, so I must go away as fast as possible (I must work 900km far from here) and the nearest dealer is 200km far from here and in a ver cold area (roads closed). Monday or Tuesday snow is coming back!!

Is there any trick to let the engine run acceptably for a travel (erasing failure or removing Engine Safety Mode)??

Thanks very much!!
