T180 Traction Control?

Hi guys,

When I bought my T180, the sales droid told me it had traction control. However, I don't think it does. Testing it out on a quiet snowy road, if I stick my foot down in second for example, the wheels spin up and the orange flashy light comes on. The revs come up to about 2.5k, and seem to be limited there. The wheels are spinning away - to me it looks like it's the stability thing braking the front wheels rather than proper traction control as such.

Could anyone who knows a bit more about it comment on this?

Cheers!

Parkers link that you give does state that the 180 has Traction control and if you read the car manual it tells you how to switch it on or off

Right, had a look in the manual (which wasn't entirely clear, as it says Traction Control (if fitted)), and I bought the car second hand.

It does have it though. The manual says you press and release the button quickly to turn TRC on and off, or you can hold the button in for 3 seconds to disable the stability control.

It seems that the traction control allows a lot of slip, which is what confused me.

Thanks for the replies guys!
