Toyota Gb Search Engine

Will be looking at getting a newer Rav this year and have started "browsing" already, love my Rav 4.1 Giant and the missus will be getting it to replace her focus.

I will be sticking with a 3 door, so will looking for the last of the 3 doors, 56plate is the latest ive seen so far and will be happy to pay an extra few quid to either get a "Granite" or XT-R model.

So I naturally thought a would have a wee look through Toyotas used car stock, but whenever I try to search it comes up with Runtime error something like that, is it just the settings im running on my computer or does everyone else get an error too. More importantly, is there any other way to check Toyotas used car stock, short of visiting a dealer.

If it still doesn't work for you, here's some 3dr search screen grabs for you to be going on with.......

Cheers guys, definitely a good few low mileage cars there to follow up on.

Il be going for a manual and probably petrol, there seems to be a few "niggly" faults with the diesel engines coming up in recent posts, through various sensors which are not easy to resolve.

Just tried again, I enter my post code (IV30 8**), then go to national stock search (local dealer has nothing), I then enter which model of Toyota and a few other parameters.

Hit search now and comes up with an error screen every time.

Bit more frustrating now as there are a few on the lists above which sound good.

Smiler, if you simply google RAV4 3DOOR, or take a look on eBay, you will get lots of dealers + private owners with Ravs for sale.. :thumbsup:

Smiler, it seems it is your postcode it doesn't like. I get the same if I try to do a search with it. For the search I did above, I just used "IV1" - I guessed you'd be in an Inverness postcode area.

To be honest, If I were you, I'd edit your previous post to not display your postcode (security), but it is up to you. :thumbsup:

completely confused - why would someone want to buy a 3 door RAV younger than year 2000?

Heres an ad for you which is in Scotland:

RAV4, metallic silver, 3 door petrol; only 170,000 miles; 1 careful owner; new DARE Drift alloys fitted with Fawlken tyres;

Turbo racing engine making this a real fast car; uprated suspension; racing brakes; serviced by specialists frequently;

2 Cobra Monaco front seats - rear seats available; 4-point harnesses; Momo steering wheel; LOUD horn set to alert people crossing the road 3 miles ahead;

fish-eye 100W headlamps; bull-bar with 6 large rally Cibies available;

radio/cd/dvd/SD/usb head unit; lightened body; allergic to diesel cars; racing intercooler system; fast heat capability;

much more on this unique 1994 example,

offers ieo (in excess of) £45,000

:lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

cash only, no cheques, no thieves, no tyre kickers (cos the tyres are so low profile that you'd bust yer toe)

Yep, good thinking, edited last digits. Yeh, inverness is close enough to use (plus I know I will probably have to come south to pick up a good deal)

Still keeping the 1999 Giant though, cracking car - its what made me realise just how good and capable (enough for me anyway) a Rav is.

I get a company car allowance which has paid for my Scooby, but ive now "tuned" it that much, its not a daily driver anymore so I use the Rav daily, but bosses are starting to ask questions on why I have such an old car when I get a money allowance.

So, I kinda have to in a way and a newer 3 door fits the bill (not to sound too cheeky, but I would feel a bit "old" with a 5 door! :D )

Yeh, local hero, I have seen plenty through google, eBay and autotrader - just wanted to see what Toyota had themselves, not saying has to be got through them.
