hi everyone ! now doubt i will never get to talk to a fraction of you with this amount of members on this great site, but will enjoy every reply of mesages that do come my way !

anyway i have a 1996 toyota lucida with what i think more likely then not a blown head gasket, the motor wont start now it ran out of fuel in the garden when parked up , i put some more in but it still wont have none of it dont know it these where automaticbleed systems on these cars, also i notice the glow plug light only goes on for a split sec maybe a sec i had been advised it maybe a glowplug relay, but what i need to know on that score where is it in situ and is it hard to get at to changed, the motor runs fine and there is no water in the oil so i dont know if it is just the part of the gasket where the water flows through, or could it becoming from the water pump without being able to start it it is hard to find out,

lastly i live in coventry and iif i have to have this head gasket changed does anyone know of a garage that changes them without emptying your bank account, i hear it is around £500 does anyone know of anyone that works for them self's for cash in there hand in or around the area,

ok i guess that is enought for now, many thanks in advance for any reply's i dont see on the day,

many thanks pete.

Hi Pete and welcome to the club

Running out of fuel wouldn't cause head gasket problems and unless it has a self bleed (I don't know) you will have a problem starting it without priming.
