That is sweeeeet! New body looks bloody mean, very aggressive!

I just love the whole thing, Carbon looks great against white, the exhausts are just porn, the wings and bumpers sit so brilliantly with the wheels! Going into overload!

Yea but is that not an Auris in the background too? Maybe it's a showcase of all their Toyotas?

No.... you've missed the point...

This is the new Celica according to some....

However Toyota make huge references to it's spiritual predecessor, the Corolla AE-86.

They have the FT-86 and the AE-86 next to each other at a car show... it would be a massive shame if this is not called a Corolla!!

"We've made a new Celica based on an old Corolla"... doesn't sound like a winning sales pitch

Corolla is the right name, we can see it, so lets hope Toyota does eh?

I seriously think that they should re-release the AE-86 but with modern technology inside including safety. So, bigger brakes, better exhaust, revised 4A-GZE 16v , and better suspension. But despite all this, they should keep ALL of the visuals exactly the same, none of this 'retro echoes' rubbish, fully retro is what it should be!

I know that the FT-86 is supposed to do this, but it isn't hardcore retro enough for me!

I'm already planning a few bank jobs

As for the release date... it's late 2011 for Japan followed by America :(
