Verso Audio System Failure

Hi, I'm new to this forum so apologies if this post is in the wrong place. I have a 5 year old Corolla Verso and the stereo system suddenly stopped working, i.e. it will not switch on at all. I checked the handbook and found 3 fuses protecting the audio system but all tested ok. Does anyone know what the cause of this might be? Is there a fuse on the back of the stereo itself and if so, how do I remove the system to get at it? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks, Carl
