Wheel Nuts

Hi, i've just bought a '93 2.4 td Surf and I've had to drill off the spare wheel locking nut as it would not undo. I didn't realise at the time how friggin expensive they are. Can anyone tell me where I can get a decent quality set of 5 for a reasonable price or has anybody got a set that they want to sell. Many thanks Moose.

But not all wheel nuts are equal . . . . . .

Even though the thread size is the same, the hexagon size may differ, as may the profile of the underside of the nut.

I have two sets of wheels for my vehicle. They use different hexagon sizes and one uses nuts with a conical location into the wheel, the other uses a parallel sided spigot location.

Because the nut configuration on the second set of wheels was different from the OEM set, I had to buy a second set of locking nuts. I got them from POTN and from memory, they cost about £15. (N.B. I only needed four).
