dont think full chromes will quite do it for a thunder grey yaris?? possibly the rims that have a chrome/polished rim with silver centres.

gold on that colour - no no no!

or similar to mine use the shadow/dark chrome, anthracite colours cos it sets off the paint work somat magical

I agree with jaxx - don't go for gold, rather the grey/anthracite colours if you want to get something different from the standard silver - especially on the Thunder Grey YTS.

I would only say that gold alloys look good on a blue Scooby, and nowhere else....

gold wheels on yaris - LOL certainly not. Only attention seekers have gold wheels!

chrome - it could work, I don't see why not.

silver - safest, most conservative bet.

:) Just don't choose gold m8

i personally like the black effect, but also depends on the style of the wheel I suppose - bronzey colour could be alright too, but at the end of the day Ian, it's what you like best, as after all, it's your pride and joy.

can't wait to see what you come up with though, and then perhaps you can help me decide for mine!

Paul

I'm using Australian ROH alloys with a 'shadow chrome' finish on my white 5 dr. Its a dark tone chrome and makes the car stand out.

thats what colour mine used to be.....

now they are simialr but not exactly shadow chrome

believe it or not theres no such thing as an accurate speedo! but to show the difference it will make from std have a look at the links and information at the top of the forum and have a look on the Car Bible link. there is a pretty good utility on there to type in your old wheel and new wheel size and it then calculates the difference
