Im Strugglin To Buy A Supra :/

a week now i been searching for a supra mIII damn its hard, see a couple in trader i quite fancied but already gone, im not too sure which way to go now either ? i was lookin at around £1800 for 1 as im buying gf a car too, or buy an even cheaper one and do it up properly any idea lads n lasses? theres a nice none turbo for £1700 local to me, no leather bla bla are they still quick or easy to upgrade, (chip etc) im only asking this as i hard a turbo a good few years back and was happy with its power

There's a nice N/A availabe on the owners site for that sort of money.

The N/A is in a different class to the turbo, with virtually no tuning capabilities either. I say test drive one before you buy to make sure.

but you've only been looking a week !! Give yourself more time and find a decent one.

And when you do, were on www.mkiiisupra.net , which is the UK owners group.

Look for a post by Stu L, he has a '92 red n/a, saw it on saturday and its mint.

If you cant find it, PM him from the owners group. :thumbsup:

I got 1 :) 89 G n/a, 74k , totally original being a 1 previous owner middle aged lady and maybe didnt want to go for loudest exhaust system in her street and have wheels the size of her penny farthing cycle... anyway im very happy. Plz expect a few post from me asking about upgrades, wheels etc :thumbsup:

got a f plate turbo man. Head gasket has been done 500 miles ago, there aint no rust that i can find apart from on the drivers door, ive looked really hard for rust round the top mounts and arches and non there, its silver and the leather is mint, oh and its done over 100k, not sure what its worth? got it for a fun car but been told its to heavy for what i want so might have to sell it,

I've got an 89 supra turbo sitting in my yard, it's a freind of mine that owns it though. He wants $7500 cdn and it's pretty near mint except it needs a hanger bearing ($400) and a little TLC. It's black, it's got motegi rims good CD/tape combo, amp, 2 10's, new racing muffler, and a few other things. where about's are you?
