Sat Nav Updates Due

Hi

Toyota have advised that there is a new sat nav update due in march or april (2009-2010) for my 56 Tspirit and that it is £159 incl VAT.

I could do with getting something sooner as my current DVD is 2005-2006 and dont want to pay the cost twice over.

Does anyone know if there is anywhere else that I could get an update from apart from toyota or have an old one (that is still later than my old thing) which they would be willing to sell? eBay isnt showing anything helpful and these updates seem scarcer than water in the desert.

I just got the 09/10 DVD set from here:

It was 159 Euros (about £145) delivered and arrived within a couple of days.

Thanks. Which year Prius are you driving? Toyota told me yesterday that this want out yet for my car which is a 56 plate T spirit and I assume the satnav models are different. Are you driving one of the new 1.8L Prius's?

Taking delivery on Monday morning, after a 5.5 month wait.

How does one find the SatNav mapping version? Plainly if there's a new one just out then I'll want that installed from the word go.

Already looking at costs and availability for Brodit clip(s), Scangauge2, and the Curt hitch for a bike rack.

By a strange coincidence, mine's a 56 T-Spirit too. I've just double checked the version from the screen menu and it's definitely 09/10.

Hi,

I just bought a 05 Reg Prius T Spirit and it didn't come with the DVD map. How can I know which map to get? I have been reading up and there's this different generation etc that confused me even more. Anyone able to help here?
