Hi all! Would be grateful if anyone can offer some advice on this:

1. Does the alloys of other Car Manufactures fit the 1st gen Paseo (eg. ford 4stud)

2. Where can I find the cheapest Green Cotton Induction Kit, I've seen £115 but seems to steep.

3. OMP strut brace - where can I get one from in UK

Cheers.

First off, welcome to the TOC.

1. Other wheels will fit, so long as the lug pattern is 4x100, it doesn't matter the manufacturer.

2. I've not much info on the green kit, but I'm always hearing about Fensport, so you might check with them. Also, if you're looking to save money, try getting the Gold membership

3. There are quite a few places online where you can buy a front upper strut tower bar. I have a freedom design FUBar, and I know Whiteline Flat-out makes one as well. Check my site for other performance links.

Not sure if they are the same as Gen 2 like mine, but if they are you can get an OMP strut brace from Demon Tweeks, I've just fitted one and 97PASEO is getting his fitted monday. It makes a helluva difference to the handling. As for the Green kit, it depends where you live, I got mine from a place in Northallerton call Motoscope. Think I paid about £80ish from memory. It's quite a good kit, not too loud but needs an extra cold air feed

I’m thinking about placing an order for the strut brace from demon-tweeks, but I’m not sure if the one for the paseo 2ndGen will fit my 1stGen Cynos :help:

If anyone has done this please let me know

Cool! How much was it? How long/was it easy to fit? Has it put ur insurance up at all?

Is OMP the only manufacturer of strut brace's for Seo's?

Thanks. Frost.

Less than £50 with Gold discount

It does improve the handling but I wouldn't say its something you have to inform your insurance company about <_< After all its just a metal brace, it doesn't improve the engine performance just the roadholding. Only takes half an hour as you have to move the alarm, theres pics on this forum. I think Cusco do a brace as well?

From memory other comapnys do Seo braces but the OMP one just bolts on, some of them require you to drill the car for third mounting points apparently.

Can't wait to get mine on!! :D

£80 ish sounds about right for the Green kit but as Dazh says the air feeds are important - don't know about Dazh but I've really noiced a much nicer response & sound since fitting my secound feed.

For wheels browse here: http://www.tyresave.co.uk/fitment.html#TOYO

Insurance - I love Liverpool Victoria!! They don't care what I do! :P

Follow the link on my signature and all will be revealed :P

As for the strut brace, simply a case of taking the nuts of the strut mounting, putting the brace over the bolts, then just tighten em up

MOMO have a universal strut that will also fit....
