Loss Of Heating ?

Evening all......2003 Avensis D4D T3-x, Recently I have had little or no heating on the drivers side of the car, the passenger side warms up okay but only when the fan is running slow ie on 2nd speed, I have tried to use the Dual switch to reduce the temperature on the warmest side and increase the temperature on the drivers side but to no avail.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

How is the level in the coolant expansion tank? I have hard that when it is low level there it might be a problem with the warm temperature inside the car.

The level is checked every other day and is okay, I recently had a new thermostat fitted as I was advised that this may have been the cause of the problem, but no the problem is still there

Could be a fault in the controls but it may be prudent to check out the pollen filter first. Try running the car with the filter removed for a few days and see if it helps.:)
