Some Help Please....

Hi everyone,

Just looking for a bit of advice. The engine maintenance light started coming on in my Corolla recently, it was intermittently at first & only when the weather was cold.

When the light is on, the turbo doesn't kick in & when I put my foot down, the car seems limp. The problem is, the light has been on for a few days now & I don't want to go to a garage without having an idea of what the problem may be as I'm worried they may rip me off!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Well you are either going to have to go to a garage to get the error code read or you could see if there is a member near you who has a code reader... a list of members is here...

The problem could be any number of things... here is a list...

Without the code(s) we're only guessing, so get the code(s) read and then post it up, then we can take it from there :)
