Can anyone tell me where the air pump is located on the celica T Sport this is a pump that pumps cold air into the injection system to protect the cat

Lift the bonnet (Hood) and remove the plastic cover on your left (drivers side). The air pump is fixed to the top edge of the front grille panel and looks like a black plastic turbo! This pump will run on for a few seconds after the engine stops which helps with identification!

It only runs for a short while after start up to increase exhaust temperature to help it get up to temperature quicker. So for much of the time it doesn't run.
