Ah well! The only thing is that in true journalistic style they cut out all the bits I said about the RAV being an extremely good car and that for us in the UK anyone affected could easily remidy it by putting their foot on the clutch to stop the car and, and, and........

.....and finaly they asked me if it would stop me from buying another and I said - "No not at all - they are the best vehicles on the market".

I must admit I didn't think they would film my feet otherwise I might have got my priorities right and shook the mat off!!!

I must also admit I was surprised when duncs put up that info that RAVs weren't affected. It is obviously rare but as you pointed out recently sime's there are 2 examples (which I read out and they converted it to "numerous"!!!). However, 2 examples in our RAV section is too many and indicates to me that they are affected.

We'll have to see what they say now................

The same night, there was a program on about Simon King in Shetland. When he was there in summer, he was driving a LR. Later, when he was shown there in winter, he'd changed to a Land Cruiser. Does that say it all?

I know your very clever SHCM, but how did you get that individual shot of Anchs floormats? Did you freezeframe it on your telly, then photo it? + upload to photobucket, cos i tried to do it at the bonnet opening moment but the flash reflection ruined it, There again I'm not very good at photography, I've got a very long list of things I am not very good at :D Stew
