Hello all,

Im new to this site, just found it whilst searching - must say, excellent site!!!!

I've just got a 2000W 1,3SR, and looking to add a couple of things, but sadly on a lowly student budget.

I've read the article on how to install a new head unit, so thats cool. Just wondering whats best in terms of Speakers.

Was thinking of sticking some 6x9s on the shelf. Would that be ok do you think. Havent really got the money for amps/subs yet sadly :-(

ALso, does anyone know how much it would cost to have the T-sport bumper, sides and back styling put on, and colour coded (its a standard toyota metattlic silver paint job)

Thanks all!! Cool site,!

Welcome to the club!!

Well im not really clued up on installing stereo equipment, but as for the bumpers go...... Toyota themselves would be able to help you. I dont think it'll be cheap though.........

welcome to the club, and excellent choice in Yaris!

I also put some 6x9 Speakers in the back shelf, and they give a nice balance of sound in the car compared to when I just had the front ones.

the TSport kit won't be cheap, but can't remember whether all the bumpers etc will easily transfer over to the SR...???? As said before, your dealer should answer those questions for you, but I had the standard skirts put on my SR and they charged me a pretty penny for painting and fitting etc - sickening when the actual part only costs them about 40 quid!

cheers

Pav

Kieran i also have 6x9's on the rear parcel shelf but u better upgrade the front 1's at the same time cos if u 'pump it up' the front 1's will distort and u won't be able 2 turn it up as high as u would like!!!

Get my headunit (see below) cos its an MP3 1 and it only costs £120 out of most places!!! This does not require u 2 slice up the dash either!!!

Wish i had a 1.3, i've got zero power at the moment

Cheers
