Prices can vary from dealer to dealer, so best to ask around your local Toyota dealers.

Your handbook/Service document should tell you precisely what is checked/changed at the 20,000 service and also confirm the oil grade to use.

IIRC was our about £160. Brake fluid is due a change at 2 years, which is extra.

Cheers for the reply's, Just looking on nationwide autocentres website, i can get the major service which includes brake fluid changed and cooling fluid changed for £194 (that includes 15% discount for being an AA member ). Used them a few times for my wife's Citroen Picasso and always found them very good.

You REALLY want to trust the Cowboys @ KwikFit/National/and the like? I would *never* dream of letting those monkeys near any of my cars let alone work on them.

I just about let them change th tyres on my cars - and then I watch them carefully.

Couldnt agree more :P

My first car I drove kept on over heating and the fan used to come on all the time. Took the car to Kwik Fit, and they got the car on the ramp and took a look, and said everything was okay, and the fan was meant to come on!

I didnt trust the young zitty trainee mechanic, and had to seek a second opinion. I took my car to Halfords, and they showed me the radiator had rusted to buggery and thats why the car kept on over heating. Thats my experience of Kwik Fit. I ONLY let them chnage my tyres. That surely is one thing they cant ***** up!!

I agree about Kwik Fit and National tyres both are absolutely abysmal and i would not touch either with a barge pole, but i have used the Chester branch of Nationwide autocentres 3 times in the past and always found them very good, i certainly would not put them in the same league as Kwik fit/ National /Halfrauds......Just before anyone thinks i am going crazy, National are a totally different company than Nationwide autocentres......Colin

I booked my 2nd year service earlier this week at my local Toyota dealer - they quoted me £183 - I said that I was told by someone (info gained on here) that the standard price was around £165 - he checked for about 20 seconds & came back saying they would do it for £165 (incl. VAT). Shows it pays to haggle & read these boards regularly!!
