How do i get the steering wheel off my mr2 year 2000 please?

Regards, Chris.

Well ive pulled one off my MK II and if your question is how to pull it off(and if its similar to a MK II)... Youll need a steering wheel pullin kit(or at least its 100 times easier that way)

Definitely ;)

I remember using two hammers to get one off years ago and nearly lost my teeth when it let go, plus I would be reluctant to hammer anything with an explosive charge in it these days :o

My Mk2 wasnt too bad... I undid the screw to get the center off then unscrew the main nut but not all the way off... then pulled on the wheel to loosen it (so you dont pull it into your face!) and then finally finished unscrewing the nut.

i was just about to say the same as Andy,

do not fully remove centre nut until wheel is loose,

if it is hard to get it moving few gentle taps on the centre nut/column with a copper/soft hammer works wonders.
