Dash Lights

Hi All

just bought an AVENSIS D-4D T3-X (don't know what any of this means). grateful if anybody could tell me.

anyway would like to know if there is anyway of dimming the dash lights?

could you please be more specific(where is the dash unit)

i have only picked the car up today, so not sure what is where.

To tommy.h,

It's the black button to the left of you dash facia, the one that controls your trip meter etc. Just press it until you get a set of black lines up, depending on how many lines showing, you will have a bright or dim dash facia.

To expand on that, best to do this when the car is parked (!), key in the ignition, with your lights on. press the trip milometer reset button that is poking oiut from the speedo. each time you press it, the read out will change, from total miles, trip A, trip B and then some small black dashes looking like this

- - = = or something similar.

once you see that display, push and hold the button in, and you will see it scroll through the various "strengths" of display brightness. you will soon figure out whats what with the brightness.
