Hi just wondering if anyone has the TTE lowering springs put in their starlet? Lowered approx. 30mm, just wondering if that would be worth?

Help :help:

Your car wouldn't look much lower but it would change that handling a lot...

depends on what you want when u say would it be worth it?

If you have a sr then ypu already have them.

Yeah i was asking if it was worth it as in would it be worth changing, but if the handling is better, i might consider changing it. Was looking at the TTE height adjustable suspension kit, but i think that's too much hassle adjusting all 4 all the time... hmmm.

Anyway thanks :)

Hi not bin with the forum long about 2 mins! i've got a starlet SR The same as yours it'''s even black! The starlet SR already comes with TTe lowering springs as standard, the drop is 35mm. A good site for other suspension is www.fensport.co.uk click under starlet turbo.

Ok thanks, just wanted to know thats all, just that the SR's are not that good when it comes to handling. Was seeing if there are any improvements, maybe strutbrace? Front and rear one? Any ideas?

OK I think the Standard uk spec SR has 25mm springs, are you sure replacing them with 35mm springs will not make them lower....??it's not 35mm spring drop, standard is 25mm? :help:

i put the TTE springs in my car along wif KYB shocks, though i ve neva been in a SR they helped the suspension a lot, then again it was standard shocks and springs in before hand.

all depends on how comfortable a ride u want and how low u want ur car to look!!!!

If you really want to sort the suspension out then look at the full whiteline kit thats shox, springs, upper and lower front, and rear strut braces, roll bars, panhard rod, and the front camber/castor kit

Although the TTE adjustable suspension kit should be very good but whats the price?

hi i swapped my standard springs for the fensport ep91 -40mm springs an the handling is really good,
